In the Khumbu.
The best panoramic views of Everst.
A very popular
trekking destination, a sort of side trip for those who are in the region
to go to Everest Base Camp. Many trip outfitters include a visit . The
views from here are spectacular possibly surpassing those from Kala Pattar
above Gorak Shep near the Everest Base Camp. Notable peaks to be viewed.
Vantage point are Cho Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Lhoste, Everest and on a clear
day Makalu. The vantage point can be reached in about 2-3 hours if you
are acclimitized well, from the summer grazing village of Gokyo. The point
where 99 % of the trekkers go, is not the real summit but a shoulder at
5360 m.
Up
Kala
Pattar. 5 630 m
20 - 22 days
These two summits are a good training and acclimatation to
prepare higher difficulties.
We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla between Himalayan peaks, landing on the
famous and spectacular airstrip in Lukla. The views form the plane are
unbelievable, where it almost seems as if the plane will touch its wings
to the side of the mountains. We will start our trek in Lukla, where many
commercial expeditions start their ascent to Everest. The trail winds
through the "Milk River" valley, climbing and dropping, with
stunning views of some of the world's highest peaks emerging around practically
every corner. After two days of trekking Mount Everest will appear in
the distance. At the end of the day, we will reach Namche Bazaar, which
is the main Sherpa village in the Khumbu Region. The following day we
will spend in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize our bodies to the altitude.
There will be time to explore the area, visit monasteries and the Everest
National Park Exhibit.
Mardi Himal &
Pisang. 5 587m
16 - 20 days
We propose you these two summits, in lower altitude,
but they are the wildest and the more interesting in Népal. Mardi
Himal is the most southerly peak of the Annapurna range. It is the lowest
and least climbed peak. The photograph of the Mardi Himal taken in 1953
by Baisl Good fellow, first drew the attention of western climbers. The
first ascent to the Mardi Himal was in 1961. The first route was via the
East Flank and it is the only used so far. Mardi Himal separates the southwest
ridge of fishtail as a separate mass at right angles to the ridge and
it is best seen from the south. The southwest face of the mountain has
three well-defined ridges rising from the rock buttresses and separated
by hanging glaciers. Its east face is separated from the fishtail ridge
by a col at 5200m.

Ama Dablam.
6 858m
L'Ama Dablam The AD is one of the most attractive moutains of Nepal. The
trek mixes rocks and ice. The South West crest is technical but it follows
a route which is free of objective-dangers. A big scale trek
31 days.
Up
Kang
Guru. 7
010m
As it is a belvedere over the Annapurna and the Manaslu, it is an efficient
first step towards an upcoming 8000m trek. Slopes are pleasant, snowy,
of medium inclination. The use of fixed ropes is necessary in a short
stiff area. A long glacial crest with numerous cornices as an end is the
occasion of a high altitude challenge.

Baruntse

31 days. South crest of the Baruntse, 7200m. An
awesome peak situated half way between the M and the E. We will follow
the road to the M, towards Mera La and the West cervix in order to reach
it. The loneliness and the technical difficulties of the Baruntse makes
it a high level peak.

with panoramic views of mountains, you will pass through the Yalung glacier
at the highest altitude, while you will see cardamom farms at the lowest
