Nepal - visa

The visa can be obtained at the Consulate of Nepal in France, or the Kathmandu Tribhuvan airport and land border posts directly. To obtain a visa on arrival at the Nepal, you will need to fill out a form (available upon arrival or downloadable on the internet) and provide a photo identification.

Cost: A visa, valid 15/30/90 days, costs US $ 25/40/100. At the Tribhuvan airport, you can pay with any hard currency, but at land border crossings, agents often require dollars in cash.
Duration: A Nepali visa is valid from 3 to 6 months from the date of issuance. Children less than 10 years must have one, but do not pay rights.

The Consulate shall only issue a multiple entry visa but variable validity: for 15 days, counting €25; for 30 days, €40 for 90 days €100. Payable only in cash. Don't forget to bring a photo and your valid passport still at least 6 months from the date of the visa application. More a form to fill out on the spot. LeadTime: 24 h, in principle. The hikers and climbers is alerted to the need to check the amounts guaranteed by their insurance policy, the rate of helicopter evacuation amounting at least to 3000 USD. Visa and transport

Foreign travelers must possess a visa for Bhutan which is granted initially for 14 days. While
the actual visa is stamped on arrival in Bhutan upon payment of US$ 20, visitors need to
obtain visa clearance from the Tourism Authority of Bhutan (TAB) in advance. Visa can be
extended in Thimpu for up to six months. The operator making your arrangements will handle
the official formalities.

Transport is provided by tour operators who have their own fleet of luxury buses.
All major places of interest are connected by paved roads. Access: Druk Air,
Bhutan's airline, operates flights to Paro from Bangkok, Kolkata, Dhaka, Kathmandu and
New Delhi. The overland entry/exit point is from the Indian state ofWest Bengal into
Phuntsholing in southwest Bhutan. Phuntsholing is four hours' drive from Bagdogra, the
nearest Indian airport, and seven hours' drive from both Gangtok (Sikkim) and Darjeeling.
The drive from Phuntsholing to Thimpu takes six hours. Tariff: The TAB has minimum set
tariffs which are different for the high and low seasons. Individuals and groups of less than
four persons must pay a overload. The rates are the same for both cultural tours and treks.

Season: March-May and September-November are the high season months, while June, July
and December-February included the low season. Bring cotton or light woolen in wear
summer (maximum temperature 30 degrees Celsius) and heavy woolens and down in jacket
Winter (minimum 1.1 degrees Celsius).
Adventure: Trekking, Tour and mountaineering.
Accommodations: Modern hotels are available in Thimpu. The outlying areas have
comfortable resorts and lodges.

For skiing

A good skiing technique is desirable for the practice of skiing, class 2 ESF, skiing in all snow, any type of terrain.
