Technical specifications Tilicho

Le sommet du Tilicho se trouve au nord-ouest de la chaîne des Annapurnas. C'est le dernier haut sommet avec son voisin le Nilgiri avant les plateaux arides du Mustang et du Tibet.

Au départ de Hongde, dans la vallée de la Marsyangdi, nous ferons un aller-retour jusqu’au col du Thorung, afin de nous acclimater avant de rejoindre le pied de la montagne. Nous quittons les chemins fréquentés de la Marsyangdi et du tour des Annapurnas pour rejoindre le camp de base situé au bord du lac Tilicho. C’est sûrement l’un des plus beaux sites de montagne du Népal !

La voie d’ascension suit un éperon puis une arête, avant d’arriver aux pentes sommitales faciles. Neige, glace et rochers en font un itinéraire superbe et varié à l’abri des avalanches de neige et de séracs, le tout dans un cadre exceptionnel. Un magnifique challenge !
